Steve Marchena graduated Magna Cum Laude from Berklee College of Music in 2001, and has gone on to teach "Contemporary Rock/Metal Ensemble" there during Summer Guitar Sessions.
In 2004, he won the Northeast Finals of Guitarmageddon and has since shared the stage with J. Geils, Al Di Meola, Nuno Bettencourt (Extreme), Kosho (Sohne Mannheims) and Jon Finn (The Boston Pops). Steve is a prolific recording artist, having performed on more than 30 CD releases. Highlights for 2009 have included tours of both the USA and Europe.
Michael Figueiredo is a guitarist, composer, arranger & music archivist. He studied classical composition at Berklee College of Music and is comfortable playing & writing in a wide variety of styles. He has led and performed in ensembles ranging from jazz to avant-garde and everything in between.
Over the past 15 years Michael has perfected his own notation for transcribing songs. He has handwritten many songbooks including transcriptions from artists such as The Beatles, Elvis Costello, David Bowie, Rufus Wainwright, Ryan Adams and a multitude of songwriters from 1950 to present time.
In addition to 20+ years experience teaching Guitar, Michael is equally adept at playing & teaching Electric Bass, Ukulele & Mandolin.
